Teesside Crown Court

The defendant and three others faced an allegation of Murder, the circumstances in summary were, that after a violent altercation, a group pursued the victim armed with weapons,  a vehicle was then deployed to drive over the victim causing instant death. The defendant a youth denied the matter. The case was listed for trial at Teesside Crown Court. On the day of trial a number of the defendants pleaded guilty to manslaughter. The defendant was then acquitted by the judge, when the CPS decided to no longer pursue the matter against him.
