Male health care assistant was alleged to have sexually assaulted a patient whilst carrying out an ECG along with various blood tests at a doctor’s surgery. The allegation was extremely serious and career ending. It was said that the female patient was sexually assaulted whilst the procedure took place. She was said to be vulnerable.
The defendant vehemently denied the allegation; he entered a not guilty plea at the outset and was acquitted of all charges after a five-day jury trial. This was a life changing allegation. By instructing Harewood Law at an early stage, his defence was advanced robustly.
